This weekend is a busy one in the area as well as further afield. Thunder in the Glens is on today up in Aviemore and in Newtonmore the Highland Folk Museum is holding an Outlander Day. Tonight Scone Palace is hosting an Outdoor Cinema showing the Rocky Horror Show. Perthshire Open Studios Exhibition is open to the public today, showcasing Perthshire artists who are taking park in the Open Studios event in September.
Closer to home we have the Annual Horticultural Society Show which opens to the public at 2pm and has the prize giving at approximately 4pm.
Aberuthven Church is holding a Community Fete starting at 2pm today, there is a bouncy castle, home baking, face painting and lots more. Why not come along and support a local good cause?
Later this evening in Aberuthven there is the Family Hoe Down Disco, a fun and inclusive evening which is a great night out for all the family. This event starts at 5.30pm and finishes at 11.30pm just in time for the last bus back to Auchterarder.
