There is lots going on today in the Auchterarder area, so Lang Toon Times will be out and about.
First on the agenda is a visit to Stewarts Building Services who are holding an open day down at West Third. Stewarts cater for both retail and trade customers and have a wide variety of tools and equipment.
Today they have representatives from different companies visiting so if you have any questions about the products today is the day to ask. There is also a prize draw running with some great prizes so why not take a run down to West Third and see what SBS has to offer?
Next on the agenda is the Ruthven Gallery. You may have seen earlier articles about the Oor Wullie Bucket Trail in the town. P1D from The Community School of Auchterarder with help from DC Thomson and Ruthven Gallery put on a bucket trail within the town. They were also given two of the original Oor Wullie Bucket Trail statues for the duration.
All the statues from the children and DC Thomson are in the Ruthven Gallery right now but not for much longer. Drop in today and see the marvellous work and imagination of the class as they decorated their own statues.
Tonight sees the Perth Strathspey and Reel Society Fiddle Orchestra in concert in the Aytoun Hall from 7pm. This was organised by the Rotary Club so anyone still looking for tickets do please contact a Rotary Club member, there may be some tickets left.
A busy day indeed and one that will start as soon as I finish this cup of tea. If you attend any of these events do please let us know how you get on.
