Remembrance Sunday in Auchterarder

This morning saw a Remembrance Service take place at Auchterarder War Memorial followed by a parade of uniformed organisations down to the Parish Church for the main Remembrance Service.

The service at the Memorial was very well attended by both uniformed organisations and local residents.

A short service was followed by the two minute silence.  A bugler and piper brought the silence to an end and wreaths were laid from various local organisations as well as those attending on the day.

After the service the parade formed in the New School Lane and led by The Community School of Auchterarder Pipe Band made its way to the Parish Church.

After the service the parade led by piper Ross Kirk made its way back to Montrose Road.
