Are you a dedicated walker or countryside enthusiast?  This could be just the thing for you.

Perth and Kinross Countryside Trust are seeking a new Chair of Trustees due to the retirement of the present Chair. In its 21 year history PKCT has completed over 150 path projects, laid over 175 miles of path and raised over £6.5million in project funding. PKCT is looking to develop further and expand into new areas so this is an exciting time to join them.

The Trust is an independent charity that that negotiates access to land, builds footpaths, helps care for the countryside and undertakes conservation projects; all to improve and promote access to the countryside for walkers, cyclists and horse riders. It manages the Cateran Trail, Perthshire Big Tree Country, Perthshire Conifer Conservation Programme and was a main partner in the highly successful Tay Landscape Partnership.

Experience of the charitable sector, fundraising, strategic planning and an enthusiasm for and understanding of the environmental field are desirable. For more details see https://www.pkct.org/news/vacancy-chair-trustees or contact info@pkct.org.
