Today I caught up with award winning local chef George Urquhart at his new venture in Newburgh, Café 3G.
Ideally placed in the main thoroughfare, Café 3G will be serving simple hearty food with the emphasis on quality. “Newburgh already has 2 knife and fork eateries, we want to offer a simple alternative where people can come and meet their friends, have a breakfast roll, sandwich, baked potato or enjoy some tea and cake.”
Open from early morning to late afternoon, there will be plenty to tempt customers throughout the day. With homemade soups, cakes and freshly made sandwiches. For those looking for something a bit different, there will also be the café’s signature open sandwiches with smoked salmon, minute steak or a vegetarian option.
Winners of the “Wedding Caterer of the Year 2018” 3G Catering Services have become the go to outside caterer in the Perthshire area and beyond. Now they are utilising those skills to bring good value quality food to the local community in Newburgh.
If you are out and about in Fife, why not drop by? You are assured of a warm welcome and excellent food at Café 3G.
