A pastry chef who won BBC2’s Bake Off: Creme de la Creme is coming to Gleneagles next month, to showcase her cake-making skills.
On Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 June, Helen Vass will take over Gleneagles’ pastry kitchen, demonstrating the talents that led her to be crowned as one of the best pastry chefs in the country.
Since 1924, Gleneagles has enjoyed the enviable reputation of serving one of the finest Afternoon Tea offerings in Scotland.
Gleneagles’ special collaboration with Helen Vass will allow guests the opportunity to enjoy some of the baking star’s most decadent sweet treats, including coconut panna cotta, choux profiterole with vanilla namelaka, cassis macaron, and raspberry sacher torte.
Afternoon Tea at Gleneagles is served in the beautiful Glendevon Room, which has been refurbished recently to celebrate the five-star hotel’s great heritage of traditional highland hospitality.
With exquisite silverware and china, luxurious furnishings and magnificent views across the grounds and Ochil Hills, the Glendevon is open for Afternoon Tea every day.
Gleneagles’ Afternoon Tea costs from £40 per person and is available by reservation from 12.30–3.30pm
