After weeks of investigation, 24 year old Jordan Johnstone has been charged with the murder of his sister 22 year old Annalise Johnstone.
The discovery of the body of 22 year old Annalise Johnstone on the B8062 road between Auchterarder and Dunning on 10th May initiated an intensive investigation by Police Scotland. This investigation resulted in charges being brought against her brother Jordan.
Johnstone appeared in private at Perth Sherriff Court today to face a petition alleging that he murdered his younger sister Annalise. It alleges that he struck his sister in the neck with a sharp implement numerous times close to the Maggie Wall monument between Auchterarder and Dunning.
Johnstone made no plea and was remanded in custody whilst the case against him is continued and further examination carried out.
Police Scotland have thanked local residents for their support throughout the investigation.
