Auchterarder to say Goodbye To Mr Clyde

The Community School of Auchterarder is about to lose the man at the helm.  Headmaster Stuart Clyde is to leave Auchterarder to go to pastures new at Bertha Park in Perth.

Over the last few years Mr Clyde has brought the school and community together with his work in so many areas of both.  With his willingness to interact with both scholastic endeavours and extra curricular activities he brought both areas together ensuring the school was supportive of its pupils in so many ways.  Who will forget the Ice Bucket Challenge, Headmaster becoming the Headliner and of course last years May the fourth when Darth Vader stalked the hallways of TCSoA.

A letter has gone out to parents to inform them of the move, and to let them know that Perth and Kinross Council will begin the recruitment process for a replacement very soon.

Although the school at Bertha Park will not be open until next year at the earliest, Mr Clyde will be leaving Auchterarder in April this year.  This will enable him to be available to project manage the build and prepare for the opening of the new school.

The school and community of Auchterader will miss this very special Headmaster who has made a positive and lasting impression on so many of those in his care over the years.
