Come along to find out about the exciting new developments at Scotland’s oldest public lending library
On Sunday October 15th there will be an Open Day at Innerpeffray library. This is to allow members of the public to hear about the plans that the governors and the friends of Innerpeffray library (FOIL), have for increasing the attractiveness of Innerpeffray as a tourist destination.
These plans include a refurbishment and extension of the schoolhouse to provide “coffee and cake” for visitors, a Woodland Walk with information panels to highlight the heritage of Innerpeffray and, potentially, two new event spaces for public usage.
There will be presentations in the schoolhouse at 11am and 2pm and an opportunity for visitors to go round the Woodland Walk. Do come along, you will be made most welcome.
