HEALTH SERVICES OVER CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR

GP surgeries will be closed on 24, 25, 26, 27 and 31 December 2016 and 1, 2, 3 January 2017
The GP out-of-hours service is for urgent problems that cannot wait until your GP surgery opens. If you have an urgent problem when your GP surgery is closed, please call NHS 24 on 111
If you need to be seen, either a home visit will be arranged or you will be directed to one of the following local primary care emergency centres (PCEC) or minor injury & illness units (MIIU):

• Arbroath Infirmary PCEC
• Perth Royal Infirmary PCEC
• Kings Cross PCEC, Dundee
• Blairgowrie MIIU
• Montrose Links MIIU
• Crieff MIIU
• Pitlochry MIIU
• Brechin MIIU• Whitehills MIIU, Forfar

Please do not attend A&E with a problem that you would normally see your GP with. This will allow A&E to concentrate on patients with emergency or
life threatening conditions. If your condition is life threatening or you need
an emergency ambulance call 999
Repeat Medication
Please ensure that you order and collect your regular medication if required prior to the festive season. There is no need to order additional medication. The out-of-hours service is for urgent medical problems only and providing repeat medication may delay treatment of patients with an acute problem.
